Refund and cancellation policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Aapeet is a platform run by Ruditech Private Limited (CIN U62020TN2026PTC195328). This policy covers money paid online on Aapeet: the booking amount a customer pays to reserve a product at a shop, and the full payment for an order that a shop delivers itself.

1. What is paid online

What When How much
Booking amount To reserve a product for pickup ₹19 to ₹199, set by the product price
Full payment Only for delivery orders from shops that deliver The full price shown at checkout, plus any delivery charge the shop shows
Business plan (shops) When a shop picks the Business plan ₹99 for the first 3 months (launch offer)

The booking amount is part of the product price, not an extra charge. The customer pays the rest at the shop counter.

2. Cancelling a booking (pickup)

When you cancel Refund of booking amount
Before the shop accepts the booking Full refund
After the shop accepts, up to 2 hours before your pickup time Full refund
Less than 2 hours before your pickup time Not refundable
You do not come within the grace period (2 hours after your pickup time) Not refundable
The shop declines, does not respond within 4 hours, or cannot hand over the product Full refund, always
The product at the counter does not match the listing (wrong item, different price, damaged) and you do not buy it Full refund

You cancel in the app from My bookings. The booking amount stops fake bookings, so the shop is paid for holding the product when a customer does not come.

3. Cancelling a delivery order

4. Refund timeline

5. Returns and replacements

Returns are handled in person at the shop.

  1. Request a return or replacement in the app within 7 days of collecting or receiving the product. Some shops allow longer; the shop’s page shows its terms, and the longer period applies.
  2. The shop approves it if the product is eligible: faulty, damaged, wrong, or not as described. Products that are used, damaged by the customer, or missing parts or packaging may not be eligible, unless faulty.
  3. Bring the product to the shop in the time slot shown in the app.
  4. The shop repairs, replaces or takes it back.

Who refunds: money paid at the counter is refunded by the shop. Money paid online is refunded through Aapeet to the original payment method, on the timeline in section 4. Warranty claims after the return period go to the shop or the brand’s service centre.

6. Failed and duplicate payments

7. Shop subscriptions (Business plan)

The Starter plan is free. A Business plan payment covers the period paid for and is not refundable once that period starts, except for a duplicate or failed payment (section 6). A shop can cancel any time from its dashboard; it moves to Starter at the end of the paid period.
