Terms and conditions
Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. About these terms
Aapeet (the website, app and services) is owned and run by Ruditech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN U62020TN2026PTC195328), registered office at 21/2, Nallamur To, Kolliyankunam Salai, Kiledayalam, Tindivanam, Villupuram 604302, Tamil Nadu (“Aapeet”, “we”, “us”).
These terms apply to everyone who uses Aapeet: customers who book or buy, and shops that sell. By creating an account or making a booking, you accept these terms, our privacy policy, our refund and cancellation policy and our shipping and delivery policy. Acceptance online is a valid contract under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. What Aapeet does
- Aapeet is a marketplace. Shops list products they have in stock. Customers find them, reserve them online with a small booking amount, and buy them at the shop. Some shops also deliver with their own staff.
- The shop is the seller. The shop is responsible for the product, its price, quality, warranty, invoice and handover. Aapeet is not the seller, manufacturer or carrier.
- Aapeet does not sell food, grocery, meat, medicines or restricted goods.
3. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. A person under 18 may use Aapeet only with a parent or guardian.
- Give true details: your name and a working phone number. Keep your login and OTP private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend an account used for fraud, fake bookings, abuse of shops or staff, or anything illegal. We tell you why, unless the law or safety stops us.
4. Bookings and orders (customers)
-
Prices. The price shown is the shop’s price, including taxes, and is the total you pay. The shop cannot charge more at the counter.
-
Booking amount. To reserve a product for pickup, you pay a booking amount online. It is part of the price, not extra:
Product price Booking amount up to ₹200 ₹19 ₹201 to ₹500 ₹29 ₹501 to ₹1,000 ₹49 ₹1,001 to ₹2,500 ₹79 ₹2,501 to ₹5,000 ₹119 above ₹5,000 ₹199 -
Confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when the shop accepts it. If the shop does not accept within 4 hours (during shop hours), the booking is cancelled and the booking amount refunded in full.
-
Pickup. The shop holds the product for a grace period of 2 hours after your chosen pickup time. If the shop closes before the 2 hours end, the rest continues when it opens next. Check it at the counter, then pay the rest by any method the shop accepts.
-
Delivery orders. Where a shop delivers, you pay the full amount online and the shop delivers as set out in the shipping and delivery policy.
-
Cancellations, refunds and returns follow the refund and cancellation policy.
-
Payments. Online payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway. We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN or OTP.
5. Using Aapeet fairly
You must not: make fake bookings; post false or paid reviews; list or buy illegal, counterfeit or stolen goods; ask anyone to pay outside Aapeet to avoid fees; copy, scrape or attack the service; or harass shops, customers or staff.
6. Shops: joining and verification
- A shop must be a business or proprietor entitled to sell what it lists. The person signing up confirms they can bind the shop.
- Before going live we check business details, documents, bank account and shop address. GST details are needed if the shop is registered for GST. We usually finish checks within 3 working days and send back incomplete applications with the reason.
- Shops keep their details current and tell us of changes within 7 days.
7. Shops: listings, prices and stock
- List only genuine products you have in stock, with true photos, descriptions and prices.
- Do not charge more at the counter than the Aapeet price. Packaged goods must not be sold above their printed MRP (Legal Metrology rules).
- Keep stock updated. If a booked product is not available, the customer gets a full refund of the booking amount. Repeated cases may lead to suspension.
- Accept or decline each booking within 4 hours during shop hours, and hold accepted products for the grace period in section 4.
- Hand over the product that was booked and let the customer check it. Shops that deliver pack and deliver with their own staff.
- Publish a return policy on your shop page and honour returns of faulty, damaged or wrong products, as in the refund policy.
8. Shops: plans, fees and settlement
- Plans. Starter is free: 25 active products, 1 staff account. Business: ₹99 for the first 3 months as a launch offer, then the regular price shown in the dashboard; we tell you at least 30 days before any price applies. Business includes 200 products, 3 staff accounts, a Verified Store badge, featuring and priority support.
- Booking amount. It is part of your price. After the customer collects the product, it is credited to you less the payment gateway fee, any platform fee and Aapeet’s commission, as set out in the fee schedule in your dashboard. You see the fee schedule before you accept these terms, and we give 30 days’ notice of any change.
- No-show. If a customer does not come within the grace period, the booking amount is not refunded to the customer and is settled to you in the same way.
- Delivery orders. Full online payments for delivery orders are settled to you after delivery, less the same fees.
- Settlement. Money due to you is paid weekly by bank transfer (NEFT, IMPS or UPI) to your verified bank account. Your dashboard shows pending and paid amounts for each order.
- Taxes. You handle your own GST and income tax and issue the invoice for the product. We invoice you for our fees, and collect or deduct tax where the law requires.
9. Shops: customer data, reviews and branding
- The customer relationship belongs to the shop. Use customer data only for that sale and its service, and only market to customers who agree. Tell us of any data breach within 24 hours.
- Do not buy, write or change reviews.
- You allow Aapeet to show your shop name, logo, products and photos on Aapeet and in its marketing while you are on Aapeet. You confirm you have the right to use them.
10. Our liability
- We work to keep Aapeet running and accurate, but do not promise it will always be available or error-free, or that a shop will have a product or a customer will come.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Aapeet (not to the shop) in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss or lost profit.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Shops indemnify Aapeet against claims caused by their products, their breach of these terms, or their breach of law.
11. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time from the app or by emailing support@aapeet.com. Pending bookings and orders are completed or refunded first, and shops are paid what is due. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why and giving you a chance to reply, unless urgent action is needed.
12. Complaints and grievance officer
- Contact the shop first about a product. If it is not sorted, email support@aapeet.com or call +91 99529 40928.
- Grievance officer: A Ruthresh, Managing Director, Ruditech Private Limited, contact@ruditech.com, at the address in section 1. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking for 30 days. If it is not settled, it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, India. This does not stop a consumer from using a consumer commission where the law allows.
14. Changes and other terms
- We may update these terms. We show the date at the top and tell users in the app or by email before important changes take effect. Shops get 30 days’ notice of changes to fees.
- If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control.
- Nothing in these terms creates a partnership or agency between Aapeet and a shop.
